The book use short poems to tell that the food of animals, and students could learn about food chain from the book.

A fun and silly collection of animals, insects, and nature told through poems. The poems are short enough to entice kindergartners yet 5th graders will find some humor and interest in them as well. The artwork is simple, no background or human embellishments, yet they are detailed enough to amaze readers.

This is a funny bunch of poems. The menus of random animals and may I say some of these meals are not for me. The illustrations are well done. Lots of color probably done by colored pencil I'd imagine. I enjoyed reading this book a lot and it was one that I had never heard of before.
