Interesting with good analysis, when it is factually correct. Notwithstanding the author's standing, he made some factual errors. Additionally, the book was terribly edited making for challenging reading at times,,,,Finished 07.09.20.

Good telling of the story of the British airborne troops who avoided capture (or escaped) and made it back to Allied lines. There are a number of stories being told concurrently, so it gets a bit confusing at times. That said, I enjoyed the book and the resourcefulness shown by these men and women. The Dutch were the heroes of the story and went to extraordinary lengths to help the paratroopers.
