I'm a fan of steampunk fiction, but found after reading this book that I'm less a fan of steampunk style, or at least this interpretation of it. The instructions are clear, the photographs pretty good and the projects very detailed. They are just not anything I'd ever make or wear. Still, it was an enjoyable book.

Suitable general book for the beginner. The basic wire instrucions were very clearly photographed. A little of everything is included - hemp jewelry,, beadweaving, bead embroidery and stringing. Inspirational designs include the Egyptian-style netted necklace which is suitable for beginners and intermediates.
