Unbelievable romance and utterly unnecessary and stupid drama are the only things the book focuses on.
The sad thing is that there are seeds for actually justified drama and a satisfying and maybe even insightful conclusion but the book rushes past any and all the opportunities for any of it and instead picks tiresome clichées there are all as old as the genre to focus on instead. And on top of it, they are not even well-executed.
Wasted potential.

First off, the cover is absolutely beautiful, which is one of the reasons that drew me into reading it :3
Remembrance by Heather Hildenbrand is the first novel in the Heart Lines series, which is a spinoff series for Dirty Blood. This book can be read as a standalone as I have not read her Dirty Blood series, I’m not entirely sure what happened in the Dirty Blood Series but still I was able to follow along and really enjoy this book. I love Paranormal Romance, so I just had to read this when the opportunity came.
I felt like the prologue the first few chapters wasn’t as capturing as I’d expected, I was kinda confused and disinterested but I kept reading. I think that it’s mainly due to the fact that I haven’t read the Dirty Blood series that I was confused, but sure enough as I kept reading things started to fall into place and it wasn’t all that bad to follow along.I was It’s a quick and easy read that keeps the reader interested, I really loved the story. I can’t to read the next one in this series~ I’m also going to pick up the Dirty Blood series, because after reading this, I know I’m gonna LOVE it :3

Hunt, Patrice and Hunt's Bad News Bears are great characters. They are all well expressed. There is quite a bit of humor and suspense. I really hated the bad guy! While the love scenes are a bit mild for me, they are adult and filled with passion. I caught a few editing/typo errors. But, the story flows so easily and quickly, you easily miss them. I would have liked the 'love scenes' to be a bit more embellished.
The entire story was very entertaining and I absolutely enjoyed every minute of it.… (mais)

Tori and Legion did not start out with the warm and fuzzy feeling for each other. In fact, Tori was trying to k!ll Legion, despite her being his fated mate. Yet, the more time they spent in each other's company, the found they could not resist each other.
I like the balance of the storyline with the romance. It was a good balance where never element overtook the other. This book has the enemies to lovers, forced proximity, fated mates, touch her and d!e vibes all rolled into this romantasy.… (mais)
