Frances Stokes Hoekstra

I'm not entirely sure what happens at the end of this story about summer camp or why it's in a collection of fantasy stories. Up until the end it seemed like a rather engaging and straight-forward coming-of-age story. I didn't enjoy not knowing what happened, but I liked the setting and the main character.
