Not quite what I was looking for. This feels like more of a book for tween parents. I'm looking more for why kids a sharing so much online. This was more about etiquette, rules and boundaries. While it addresses cyber bullying it skips over porn, dangers of predators, and the darker sides of humanity and the perils outside of suburbia. I'm sure this would make a nice book club or quick reference guide for ideal scenarios, but I'm of the opinion that it isn't realistic enough.

In the age of technology where the kids are far more savvy than their parents a book like this is a must read. There are some common sense rules for online social interaction as well guidelines for children to protect themselves. More importantly, the book sets the tone for encouraging parents to be observant and aware as well as empowering them to understand how this generation interact.

**** I was provided with a copy of this book for my honest opinion ****
