William H. Hudnut, III (1932–2016)

William H. Hudnut III, senior resident fellow, holds the Urban Land Institute/Joseph C. Canizaro Chair for Public Policy at the Urban Land Institute, a nonprofit research and education organization dedicated to providing responsible leadership in the use of land. A former congressman and four-term mostrar mais mayor of the city of Indianapolis, Hudnut established a national reputation for spearheading the revitalization of downtown Indianapolis and initiated the formation of a public/private sector partnership that led to Indianapolis's emergence during the 1980s as an entrepreneurial American city.
