About the Author

Joe Hutto is the celebrated author of Illumination in the Flatwoods, which was made into the Emmy Award-winning PRS Nature documentary My Life as a Turkey. Illumination in the Flatwoods: A Season with the… por Joe Hutto

While well written and delivering new details about the lives of these intelligent animals,
it still does not fully explain why found turkey eggs could not be placed in other wild turkey nests,
rather than using imprinting to track them.

Throughout the books, readers may well be concerned about the safety of the wild birds when left alone at night.

The friendship and compassion of human and wild animals carries the day!
