This book contains many short, untitled poems about people and situations a child might commonly encounter. The illustrations are rich.
This is a lovely colorfully illustrated book featuring biographies of Jesus Christ, Simon Peter, Andrew, James (son of Zebedee), John, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James (son of Alpheus), Jude, Simon, Judas Iscariot, and Paul. Also includes a poem entitled, “God Send Us Men.” The book is in excellent condition. It measures 7” x 10.5” and has 30 pages.
This book, which we bought second-hand, was meant for families uho had just had a child and had gone through a "Family Life Program" in their church. There's nothing in the book that says which church. The book provides space in the front for a personal family history. The rest of it has a double-page layout with a full-page picture on the left, and a story about the picture on the right. The bible stories are interesting and non-denominational, meant for parents and their school-age children. The last page is a prayer for families.… (mais)
