Simon Jenner is one of my favorite authors! That means I will read everything and anything he writes without having to read one word of the synopsis on the cover. I don't even feel that way about Stephen King these days. My favorite authors and books take me on wild adventures whether romantic and sultry as in historical fiction, scare the bejesus out of me as in horror, get my heart racing as in thrillers and work my brain trying to figure out a mystery, etc. Simon Jenner is one of those authors who is able to take me on amazing adventures from the first word to the last. I love that!

I was given Incendiary by Simon in return for an honest review, as he did with the 2 other Ethan Justice books, and I can honestly say I loved it! What's not to love?! Incendiary is exciting, thrilling, mysterious, action-filled and has an antagonist so evil, I hated him before I even knew what his place in the story was. Simon is a master in creating characters who have their own voice and who get under my skin. Over the course of the 3 Ethan Justice books I've read, I've come to love Ethan, Savannah and Agent Johnson because they're such dynamic characters. I felt very protective of Ethan and Savannah and worried about them and cheered them on while they fought their way through the plot. Agent Johnson doesn't need my concern, he's experienced and absolutely amazing! He's also an American like me - way to go Herb! lol I can't wait for Simon to write more Ethan Justice and other books! I'm a fan and hooked for life!… (mais)
