I think that this book was interesting. It went through different cultures and showed the different instruments that can be played. I thought it was more informative, not a story with a plot. Which I still think is interesting, I think that the big picture would be to just inform students about the different types of instruments and what types of sounds they make. I illustrations were great and fun to look at. I would recommend this book to others.

Good poetry and factual information about 15 Chinese instruments. Excellent pronunciation guidance for each instrument. Diverse student musicians in many (lovely) settings illustrate the poetry and instruments.
