There's a lot going on in this book and it's quite a ride! High profile murder case, empathic almost lawyer, mobsters, romance, controlling billionaire, kidnapping...it's all in here. I really like the story but it does end abruptly as it is just the first in a series. If you don't like waiting to finish the story then you need to wait for all of them to be published. I will definitely be waiting on pins and needles to read the next installment.

Unfortunately, I could not finish this book. I picked it up for free on Amazon, so at least I'm not out any money. The writing seemed very immature and simple. It was not really believable that a billionaire professional businessman at the lead character's age said things like "wicked good' and "that's how I roll". The intimate scenes were almost crude in their simplicity with phrases such as "pitching a tent" and the only descriptions we got were "hard c*ck". When they first met and he said "Tell me what you want. Would you like some of this hard c*ck?" - I choked on my drink because it sounded so ridiculous. I had high hopes for this book. The cover is great. But I had to abandon it by the 5th chapter. Maybe it will appeal to a younger crowd.… (mais)
