Summary:
Mother Teresa was a very caring woman. She wanted nothing more than to take care of those that needed help the most. She was very compassionate and because of her, many people were able to live out their last days in a more comfortable environment surrounded by people that treated them with care and respect.

Personal Reflection:
As a kid, I always looked up to Mother Teresa. I wanted to be that selfless and help others so bad. But I couldn't leave my family. She still remains a hero to me.

Classroom Extensions:
Have students pick a hero that they have and ask them to explain why.

Ask them what their definition of "saint" is and discuss.
