I think this book would be a good resource for children. I think that children hear about Kwanzaa, but don't actually learn the facts about it. I didn't realize that Kwanzaa was an African American Holiday. This book also talked about Chanukah (Jewish holiday), Christmas (Christian holiday), and Ramadan (Muslim holiday). I was very pleased with this book.
