This is an excellent book for someone who has trouble going to a public venue and speaking to strangers. That has never been my problem, so the book didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. There are places for notes in the book which I liked. Just passing out a business card doesn't help you make connections unless you also have a meaningful one-to-one conversation with a person. The book gives you hints on how to do this in a step by step manner. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.… (mais)

Mastering the art of connecting is about seemingly simple skills that I often struggle with. It has pages for notes and its short and sweet. The author explains the real point is in authentic connections and not a business card exchange. It's a guide that helps a person build a plan and style of their own for meaningful connecting/networking. This books is for someone who may feel nervous, new to networking, or even struggling to connect successfully.
