The young boy in this story wants to learn how to whistle to call his dog Willie to him. This book teaches young children that in order to learn something new, you must work hard at it every day.

I need to read The Snowy Day every time I get tired of the snow in Alaska. Peter's experience is so magical.

A charming and nostalgic book that captures the magic of childhood in the wintertime.

This book explained exactly what it should. It explained a snowy day and you are able to tell it is about a snowy day. Has good illustrations showing different type of things to do with snow. Floor seems pretty interesting like floor tiles. The illustrations are also really good and detailed about random things that can be done when it snows.
