There were some pretty good tips in here that I never really thought of trying. Beyond that, I think the ideas in here might be a little too extreme for most people. I get where the author is coming from, but I don't know anyone who would make a diy deodorant.

I randomly picked this up from my library and overall, I think this was a pretty good guide chock-full of actionable tips and very accessible to readers.

On the other hand, this was clearly very US-centric and quite a few crucial suggestions are something I had never even considered being not normal, like eating from real dishes or not using papertowels for cleaning every single thing.

Some of the DIYs and recipes are definitely things I'll be trying out though!
