Bingo’s Big Adventure is a visually engaging story book for children ages 3 to 8. Preschoolers to beginner readers will enjoy the real-world photography within this story which suits visual learning and motivates independent reading. Kids will be drawn to Bingo’s message of curiosity, his spirit of self discovery, and his inclination to test his own limits.

Bingo's Big Adventure is a children's book which tells the story of this cat's first outing to the world around his home. Bingo is a kitty adventurer and has a day exploring the new sights and smells of the great outdoors. He meets another cat who lives on the property and encounters a domineering rooster. He sniffs, watches, and learns about his new world in this story.

With vocabulary expanding, word enriching text for young children, this book does not disappoint. If you want to stretch your child's imagination and word knowledge, Bingo will provide the path way to this destination. I think kids get bored after a while with the same "ole" word set. For most kids my book will seamlessly merge into the family library. For other kids who are not quite ready for my word empowerment, then parents should wait until those kids are a little bigger before reading Bingo's Big Adventure to them.

It's possible that a 3 year old may not be able to sit through this book, but I know MANY who already do! So as parent, your job is to gauge when the time is appropriate to introduce the bigger worded books to your children. On the other end of the spectrum, 7 and 8 year old children tear through this book and absorb the new words with fervor!

So with all things, parents are crucial in implementing a reading program that broadens children's exposure to new words. If you want your kids to grow their minds, read books like Bingo's Big Adventure to them. If you like the comfort zone, this book may not be right for you. But I still hold the hope that you change your mind . . .

A book that cat lovers of any age will enjoy. I like that the story is told from the cat's point of view. Bingo has recently been adopted and brought to live on a farm. He roams around somewhat cautiously trying to find out who is a friend and what is dangerous. Bingo has a lot of energy and he can't resist checking out every single thing. The photography is absolutely gorgeous. I enjoyed this book very much. This book would make a great gift for a cat lover of any age.

The pictures in this book are clear and obviously a work of love by the author, however, they are definitely the best thing about this book. The story that goes along with them has just too many words to keep the interest of a small child, especially at the age to really enjoy a barnyard animal story. I hope the author will continue working on it - add a few more silly cat photos and tighten up the story.

I wanted to like this book, I really did. But I just did not care for it. I attempted to read it to my 3 year old son. It did not hold his attention for more than a page. He liked the pictures, but the story was just way over his head. I found it trite and not well executed. This was a great idea, but just did not transfer well.
