Leland Kinsey

Leland Kinsey was born and raised on a farm in South Albany, Vermont. He received a bachelor's degree from the University of Vermont and a master's degree in writing from Syracuse University. He wrote poetry and taught poetry through a program of the Vermont Arts Council, teaching kids in more than mostrar mais 100 schools in Vermont and New Hampshire. He wrote eight volumes of poetry including The Immigrant's Contract, Winter Ready, and Galvanized: New and Selected Poems. He died from lymphoma on September 14, 2016 at the age of 66.
