Aviad Kleinberg

This book is excellent for a historical and theological look at what makes sin, how sin is defined, and the origins and modern interpretation of the deadly sins. The author quotes and interprets scripture and the writings of the original scholars of the Bible (early Church fathers, writers of the Talmud, etc.).

I have been reading quite a few books lately on atheism, theodicy, and scriptural interpretation. Reading a book written by a believer that actually had logical arguments and well-stated reasoning was quite refreshing. Many apologists that I've read are heavy on the inerrancy and light on the logic. Kleinberg is not.… (mais)
