An anthology taken from after WWII up to the mid '70's of articles, letters,and poetry that appeared in Farm Journal. Contributed mostly by American farm wives, the various articles are a commentary, not just on farm life, but on life in general during this period. Not a book I would read again but not a waste of time either. It made me remember growing up during this period; visits to my grandparents; picking beans,corn,cucumbers, and tomatoes in the early morning; any number of things I hadn't thought about in years.… (mais)
