This is the sweetest, most adorable holiday fluff ever. I’ve had this book sitting on my shelf for over a year, avoiding it because it seemed so cliche. Out of nowhere I picked it up last night (day after Christmas, so that was appropriate) and just ate it up. So. Stinking. Cute. It’s Groundhog Day as a Hallmark movie in the cozy-sweater-est possible way. I don’t care if it’s a melange of tropes; I love it. The writing is good, the characters are easy to see in the mind’s eye, and while the ending is never up for question, it’s not always clear how much time it will take to get there and which ways the plot will turn on the journey.… (mais)

Fun! This book is up my alley - it's an unusual take on love and relationships - and not exactly what I would call a total HEA; part of it is, part of it wasn't. And with it being a bit messy, it feels more realistic, which is what I tend to lean toward.

Twins Ami and Olive find themselves at Ami's wedding, where Ami and the entire group of wedding guests get ill from the reception food, except the two who didn't eat it - the brother of the groom and Olive. Of course, these two despise each other. But, as the honeymoon is set and unchangeable, the brother, Ethan, and Olive take off to fill in for Ami and her new husband in Maui.

The story gets a bit predictable here, but it was done with a lot of fun, and easy to put the predictability in the corner because of the banter and antics. Of course, Ethan and Olive fall for each other until they get home, and all hell breaks loose. But, you will have to read it to see how it ends (you will thank me later).

I was surprised to learn that two people authored this, Christina AND Lauren (so very cool!). Ladies, you have done an excellent job, and I will look for more of your work.

Fizzy Chen has always been super open to sex and romance, particularly as a prolific and popular romance author. But for the past year, she's been unable to write and her interest in sex, nevermind a relationship, has been non-existent. Then she meets Connor Prince, a producer of environmental documentaries whose been pushed by his employer to produce a reality dating show, and is offered the position as the lead in his new project. Fizzy isn't that interested in the idea and intends to scare off Connor by giving him a ridiculous list of criteria for the men she'd date on the show. But then he manages to fulfill her every demand and now Fizzy and Connor are spending a lot of time together. But as Fizzy tries to find a love match in front of the camera, the real sparks might just be flying behind the scenes.

I ADORED this romance, which is a sequel to The Soulmate Equation. Fizzy is a fantastic protagonist and her brash and open personality along with the dating show scenario offers plenty of opportunities for the humour I love about Christina Lauren's books. Connor is also a compelling a character and I thoroughly enjoyed watching these two fall for each other. Also the ending made me so happy I cried (yeah, I'm that sap). Highly recommended for romance fans.

This book hurt my eyes because every other chapter was a different font. It was made worse by one being a sans serif typeface and one being a serif typeface based on the pov we were in.
