I recently answered the author's survey and 5 of us were selected to receive an Amazon Gift Card. I selected the 1st novel in "An Angel Mountain Series" as after a particularly hot summer's day (even with a/c) the cover looked refreshing, the title soothing, and the description open to possibilities that a man's broken heart might be healed with a child's faith, hope, and love in the season of goodwill and glad tidings.

Sometimes I've found it refreshing to read Christmas novels at any time throughout the year and not only during the holiday season. With all the negativity in today's world it restores the soul to remember that not only can your own heart be healed after feeling broken by life's experiences but that you can be the person that helps someone else heal their heart.

The author tells a beautifully written, inspirational story that reminds one how precious it is when the spirit of Christmas characterizes the actions given from the heart all year-round and especially the joy of making a child's Christmas wish come true.

Falling in love never factored in. I fell in love with this book. A cute modern twist on an age old fairytale (Cinderella). Enjoyable, lighthearted read.
