What a wonderful story from start to finish. I loved every minute and couldn't wait to find out the next adventure Brodie and his "Sunshine" Savanna got into. Lots of romance, some laughter and the feeling of friendship and family throughout. As upstanding as Brodie was I was surprised that he would enter into a marriage that he couldn't even remember taking place. It was fun to see how his and Savanna's lust grew to be love even though they fought it at every turn. Throw in a few meddlers and it made the story a little more interesting. I haven't read any other books by Amie Louellen but you can be sure I will in the future.
Favorite Quote: "Brodie is a family man," Savanna said. "Maybe not in the way you're thinking. So he doesn't have a wife or three kids he's trying to raise. But he's got a grandmother that's a pistol."... "He's got an aunt he looks after. Did you know he dropped out of school just to care for them after his grandfather died? Of course not. It's something Brodie's not very proud of. But you know what. I am. I'm proud of him. And I'm proud that even for a brief time I got to call him my husband."… (mais)
