First half of the book took way too long.
The h annoyed me with how long she stayed angry and her repetitive inner dialogue.
Second half was good.

I'm not going any further...I can see the handwriting on the wall (so to speak). Dark stories aren't my thing but I do like Mob stories. I don't really enjoy reading about the main characters being hurt/tortured. It took forever for Tor and Jude to hook up and share feelings with each other. Just a bit slow paced I think. I really don't like feeling this all could have been wrapped up in one (better) story.

Good writing and kept my attention. I like a kick ass heroine but Una is OTT! I can't make myself feel she is feminine when she acts like a killing man. I just prefer the h to be a bit softer.

Like the first with good writing and kept my attention. I just didn't care for Una....again! I really enjoyed when they finally started to have a halfway normal relationship. Unfortunately, it didn't last long. I really hated what happened after the baby was born. I skimmed the last 30% or so.
