A re-listen, 45 years after listening to this on a nightly scheduled broadcast on my college radio station and it still holds up, so sorry to learn that Robert Lorick who played Jack Flanders passed away last year.

I thought that I was picking out an audio book that was originally a book....but I'm not sure that's what this was.

It was alright, but not really that great. I think perhaps it would be better if it were a longer book. The idea of an alternate reality where people can "fade" in or out sounds super awesome to me. But, in the end, they don't explain how it happens, or why.

Sigh.
