I loved this series as a child. Good informational text with good pictures. Short enough for young children but long enough for older children.
Age 4-7

I would use this book because it is relatable for students, the character is about the same age as many of the 3rd grade student body. I also really like this book because it is mostly story, with a lot of great featured facts in the book also. I would use this book as a read-aloud because it has so much detail that the students can ask questions about the animals they are looking at.

This book was very educational and contained lots of information. If I was teaching a science class, I would definitely read this book to my students. It is full of facts about different species of wildlife.… (mais)
