This book is readable despite Majumdar's boring writing because the subject is interesting and the book is only some 130 pages long. Lalit Modi is a most interesting character and the most important administrator in modern cricket. It is good that there is now a book about him, but eighty percent of this book is rehashing what is well known and is out there in the media. The only thing that may be new is the output of Majumdar's phone conversations with various unnamed administrators but these always seem to end with more questions and never with any conclusions.

Worth reading because of the subect but not worth spending any money on.

A good book about someone who lives and breathes the game.

The book is a story about an ordinary guy who became extraordinary though sheer hard work and love for the game.

Read it as a fan looking for gossip and you will be disappointed.

Read it as a someone who loves what he does and has achieved a good deal because of it and you will love it.
