wanted to like this for the story line but, once again, the ending wasn't. very little was done other than to introduce a few characters, throw some chaos into the mix, and provide scaffolding for future stories... this is one of the reasons i don't like reading stories that are part of a longer series that isn't finished...

I have really loved this whole series so far. Autumn started out a mess and she became a wonderful character, especially when she brought Louie back to life. Cassie was brash and more than a little crazy but oh so much fun. Now it's Julia's turn. Up until now we figured since Cassie is such a vibrant personality and she lived inside Julia's body for 15 years that Julia must be a meek little mouse, a real pushover for someone like Cassie. Wrong. It takes someone of really strong character to take in the lost soul of a little girl when she was just a child herself and maintain her own consciousness in the process. I love Julia and I love this book where she starts coming into her own. Learning some shocking things about herself in the process and gaining confidence in herself. Oh the emotional roller coaster of this book! Chuckling one minute and gasping the next. And this is just the beginning! I can't wait to see where her story takes us.… (mais)

My favorite in this series

I really feel like Cassie has come into her own. It was great seeing Autumn back in form, actually pretty much everyone has at least a cameo in this book! I thought the author did a great job of gently reminding the reader about everything that happened in the earlier books without making it feel awkward. I had a lot of "Oh yes I do remember that now" moments. I really enjoyed this book so much and while Cassie always makes me laugh, the humor in Book 6 stood out for me. The potato sack rant, the attacking bathrobe and the fish! I grinned a lot while reading and that always makes for a wonderful experience.… (mais)
