In an effort to find out what makes violins, and their makers, so special, the author watches a violin being built from start to finish by a master luthier.
cute book, well written even if it does tend a bit toward personality worship.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, given my obsession with all things violin, I thoroughly enjoyed this little gem of a book. It rips along like a novel, but is full of wisdom on all manner of creative angst.
