Dead Girl is a book that touches on a very important subject that is happening every day to someone, and that is bullying. It is happening in schools as well as on social media websites.
Kylie is the main character being bullied by Natalie, aka The Queen Bee so they call her in school. Natalie reminds me of a venomous snake. Kylie has had a crush on Natalie’s boyfriend Jack since the 3rd grade, but she has never acted on her feelings towards Jack.

Natalie is the type of person that finds out something secret about someone and uses it against him or her.

Braydon the new person in school that comes to Kylie’s rescue when Natalie is having one of her moods to bully Kylie today, and from there their friendship blooms.

You will come to admire the strength that Kylie has and the crap she takes every single day, she portrays her strength and stands up for Jack who has come out of the closet and now Natalie has told the whole school about it, so they start tormenting them both.

It is hard to tell you much more about this book that I really want you to know but I cannot spoil it for you. This book is necessary read for any child/tween/ teen or parent of a child being bullied. This happens every day unfortunately in today’s world, and it is sick and very sad.

This was alright. My biggest issue with it was that I don't like Lexi. She annoyed me. She was whiny and dramatic and stupid. And she has serious issues. There were a couple of funny scenes (when the guys and girls jump out the back window because of bed checks or Nate and Kaylee's backstory) and for about 70% it was sweet and flirty if not very teenagey. At the 70% mark it got rather dumb and made me want to hit them both over the head. So much could be solved with talking and honesty. But I also felt the reactions (to Ryan's drinking/him giving back the ring/the fight between Sandy about Lexi's mum cheating with her dad/finding out Lexi's mum is in AA and the sponsor encouraging her to give her support) to a lot of things were majorly overkill. Just calm down people. Plus Lexi was constantly going on about being judged and it didn't really feel like anyone was actually judging her - felt a lot like teenage dramatics. Yeah yeah, we all had them. Still annoying AF. The characters were pretty flat and the plot was fairly thin but overall it wasn't bad. Might even read the rest of the series just to know what happens. Maybe they grow up.… (mais)

A really cute second chance romance. A couple 20 years ago, Phoebe broke Laurent’s heart. She smashed that sucker. Now she’s back to take him up on their silly pack to get married. Now it’s time for a fake romance. Oh, these two still have chemistry and it’s fun to watch them move past all that has happened. The characters are well-written and entertaining. The plot is a hair predictable but I am a sucker for romances in the vineyards. The family would try the patience of a saint and I think Laurent needs the break. It’s a fun, quick and entertaining read that any romance lover would enjoy. I hope to see more about the family in future books. This is a new author to me. I look forward to more from her.… (mais)

I didn’t know that this was a book #2, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I felt like binge-reading last night and skim through Google book store. They recommended this to me so I downloaded it. I regret it five hours after.

I was awake just smiling at this teasing love story between Caleb James and Kate Hayes. The story had an erotic tone to it, spending an entire chapter sexing it up. I skipped through it because I just want to read a story.

The five star stays because the story was well put. I love all the character development and how it intertwined with each other. I want to know more about Gia and Milo. That would be an interesting turn of an event.
