I wanted to read the book because Bob Massie and his journey and struggle with hemophilia are the subject of the book "Journey" written by his parents which I had read in the 70s. Bob was a curious and mostly happy child and I wondered how his life had progressed. Also, he is an Episcopal priest, and being married to an Episcopal clergy person, caused me to be more intrigued.
Bob Massie has become a man who is compassionate and a man who works for justice. His memoir is well written and he shares his journey about fighting for justice in South Africa, running for Lt. Governor in MA, and creating the world's standard for corporate sustainability. And throughout he continues to deal with hemophilia, then AIDS and hepatitis and finally liver failure brought on by hepatitis.
Bob had not had an easy journey but he tells his story with tremendous grace and candor. I recommend this to you.

Have to give this five start just because of my relationship to the subject matter. That is one righteous hemophiliac !

The plot seemed to lag in the middle, and the unraveling of the mystery occurred quickly and hinged on one scene. The action wraps up in one chapter and the denouement occurs in the last one. All happening a bit too rapidly for my taste, and leaving some unanswered questions.

Since this was a Christian Political thriller, I expected morality to play a bigger role in the story line than it did. I was also surprised that Biblical passages didn't play a bigger role in the plot.
