My fourth read from author Emmanuelle de Maupassant, although I own a number of her works it was an audiobook that enticed me to read her work. In younger days I'd read "Gothic" novels from authors Daphne Du Maurier, Victori Holt & Mary Stewart and the author follows in that genre faithfully with a touch that only Emmanuelle de Maupassant could do.

Set aside a long weekend for this delightfully steamy Scottish trilogy.

Highland Pursuits: Allow a LONG afternoon for this delightfully steamy coming-of-age set in 1928 when debutante Lady Ophelia Finchingfield is relegated to the care of her grandmother Lady Morag MacKintoch at Castle Kintochlochie for the sin of refusing to marry Percival Huntley-Withington Earl of Woldershire. 5*

Highland Christmas: Allow a long afternoon for this steamy Christmas wedding as two characters from Highland Pursuit return to tie the knot. 5*

Highland Wedding: Allow a long afternoon for this adult Scottish second-chance wedding mystery set at Castle Kintochlochie in June of 1929. 5*.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
