Don McCune

Posthumously published memoir interspersed with Klondike Gold Rush history text. McCune was a mainstay of Northwest radio and public television for decades and produced a series retracing the steps of the Klondike stampeders. The real value is in the vivid history shown by the amazing vintage photographs and excerpts from the diary of a woman walking the trail with her husband. Next to these, McCune's crew's summer journey isn't nearly so impressive.
