I read this book via an Amazon-US KINDLE Unlimited download.

As of the day I’m writing this review [11/19/17] I’ve been retired I’ve been retired for 7 years 8 months, but who’s counting, and my dear OH is just short or being retired for 3 years.

I’ve found this book to be a wonderful cornucopia of ideas for folks like us to do. The fifty ideas contained in this book range from being quite simplistic to being sublime for us to consider doing in our retirement years. And in between the author, Berger MacDonald, has listed at least two outrageous ideas like being in our twenties again and participating in wife/husband swapping; or even more extreme like getting a sex change.

My dear OH and myself are already going to the senior to be with friends and neighbors and have a good meal for $2.00 and participating in their activities; another one of these include assembling jigsaw puzzles [after which we would get some jigsaw puzzle glue, spread it on the completed puzzle and then framing it.] I can also clearly see my OH and myself participating in a few more of the ideas the author has listed; the most important of which is getting those cemetery plots all of us perpetually putting off in doing.

The thing is I’ve found two awesome things which I’m doing right now, and which had not been included in this book. The first which is being becoming an author, where I’ve already self-published two books and am currently working on four more; all of which into the genre of romance. Becoming an author has been a dream I’ve had since I was a young child. The second of which is my becoming a Book Reviewer [as of the last time I looked I’ve got 650 book reviews on Amazon.com

The time for saying “WOULD HAVE. COULD HAVE. SHOULD HAVE.” has come to an end. You’re retired now and every moment of the day you’ve now got the time to do anything and everything you’ve always procrastinated about doing; so, got do them.

For wanting his readers to get out of their beds and homes, so they can enjoy the rest of their lives and start living; how can I not give this author and his endeavor the 5 STARS I’ve given.… (mais)
