The second book in the The Watchers series is a thrilling vampire romance.

Singer Rosa Bella is a vampire hiding among the humans and her life is turned upside down when she meets Vane. Vane is a Watcher and no female has ever filled his empty heart like Rosa, but a Watcher’s life has no room for attachments. Then a vampire hell bent on taking over the city of Louisville Kentucky also has Rosa in his sights. As the danger escalates, the watchers find themselves in a race to save the city and Vane is torn between helping and saving Rosa.

The fast paced plot keeps readers on their toes with lots of suspense, action and romance. The author describes the story with vivid imagery and detail making it easy for the reader to get caught up in the book. The characters are strong, compelling, easily understood and leave the reader wanting to know more.

The attraction between Vane and Rosa radiates heat from every page, but the relationship is has a lot to overcome, not only the bad guys getting in the way but these two need to work on their communication skills. All the characters are intriguing ensuring the reader wants to read more about them, but Rosa is this cross between a vibrant outgoing person who sings on stage, but really vulnerable and unsure of herself capturing the hearts of the reader as well.

This vampire world is thrilling and interesting with some unique attributes that keep readers engaged and this story some surprising twists that the reader doesn’t see coming. The author also does a fantastic job of setting up the next couple books in the series because I really want to read Rayne’s and Tank’s stories soon, and I want to know what happened to the ‘good’ (ha!) doctor that got away from the watchers.

The first book in The Watchers series is an intriguing and fascinating vampire world.

After escaping years of abuse as the prisoner of a brutal drug lord, Robyn Andrews boards the first bus out of town and heads for Louisville, Kentucky where a chance encounter with a stranger changes her life for the better? Watchers have one mission in life; to hunt and eliminate Rogue vampires and Trigg just wants to be left alone and do his job. But he can’t seem to harden his heart against the petite woman who looks so lost standing in the rain. He knows that that a future for them is impossible, she’s human, he’s a vampire, but she’s someone special. But the past is catching up and it has a way of changing destinies.

This steady to fast paced plot keeps the reader engaged from beginning to end with well written scenes, vivid images and great compelling characters. The author does such a fantastic job of giving these characters life that the reader can’t help but become enamored and want to know more. As the reader gets caught up in the lives of Trigg and Robyn they are swept along with the Watchers missions as they battle the rogues and get their adrenalin pumping.

The attraction between Trigg and Robyn is such a sweet passion that burns super hot at the same time. The author conveys that chemistry and their relationship with such intensity that it captures the imagination. The reader can’t help but feel for these two characters, Robyn’s such a strong and sweet person that has been through hell and Trigg is this tough vampire that has such tender feelings for this lost waif, how can the reader not fall in love with them. Even the sex scenes are contradictory in the fact that he is so sweet and tender but carries away by hot steamy lust that it takes the reader’s breath away.

I can’t wait to read the next book in this wonderful and entertaining vampire world, Vane, Rosa and Rayne have definitely caught my attention and I want to know more about them as well as the Watchers.

This book is an intriguing shifter romance that captures the heart.

A cocaine addict, Angel knows the hard meaning of life and now scarred for her life she runs from the well known drug dealer and pimp.
Shapshifter Jonah Stark stays away from town and lives on a mountain top with members of his community. When a finds an injured human female, his protective instincts arise and he brings her home and Angel begins to heal with this community of shifters, but will her past come back to haunt her before she can reach happiness.

This steady pace plot has it all, suspense, some action, love, romance, friendship, emotional turmoil, and betrayal. The author brings this story to live with vivid images and intense emotional detail that captures the reader’s imagination and has them feeling as if they are part of the story.

All the characters are strong and compelling and leave the reader wanting to know more. The story contains drug and prostitution references and takes the reader on an emotional journey of hardship and recovery to a happily ever after.

The attraction between Jonah and Angel radiates heat from every page and the well written sex scenes that involves lots of purring and a hot and steamy sauna scene that singes the reader.

While there is Angel’s bad guy that she ran away from, there is also one from the community that acts on jealously and betrays the community. The author blends everything together seamlessly with other smaller side conflicts that adds lots of depth to this entertaining tale.

The author has created an enchanting world of snow leopards, (don’t worry there are some wolves as well), that I couldn’t put down once I started reading. The only thing I was a little disappointed with was there was a couple of issues left unresolved or left open, but that in no way takes away from the main story. I very much liked that the author gave the reader closure on some of the secondary characters from Angel’s past. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this fascinating and entertaining tale and I hope the author intends to write more about this shifter community.

This story starts with 4 friends making wishes for future love. Rachel really doesn't want to even think about a guy in the future so her description is purely fantasy. The rest of the book portrays what happens with fantasy and reality collide. I love the strong character of the shifter Tuni who must balance protection and true justice. There is plenty of intrigue as well. A well balanced story.
