weird but cool. I like the detailed biological illustrations in pencil matched with the rich toned of the other pieces of illustration. I think the negative space in this book builds tension and does an interesting part of the storytelling.

The writing was good and the action kept me reading, but the extreme starvation and body disfigurement issues make it a better premise for adults than children and teens.

7/10, it was an interesting and original mystery book about a town being flooded for a dam.

This book is an interesting way to look at the anatomy of a bird. Quiet and thoughtful.
