slow read

Was a bit of a slow read but could be because I am used to action packed books. Thought it was a true story

I really enjoyed this book...the way it is written, I really could picture everything so clearly, like I was watching a movie. Great story, wonderful characters.

I'm so happy I rediscovered Kristina McMorris after thoroughly enjoying one of her books....happily, there are MORE for me to read! To watch Shan's life evolve over many years, with so many twists and turns, was fascinating and page turning. Her study of the history of those years provided a wonderful and at least somewhat factual background to all that was happening over this time period.
