The writing is well though out. Each chapter swist between the boy's and the dog's point of view.

"Official" history of an important phase of the shuttle/ISS program. Author and Russian space expert James Oberg has an interesting and rather revealing critique of the book on his blog. Others have already written books describing what the ultimate failure and success of the program. I recommend reading those titles after finishing this over polished piece.
