A mystery and you are right there with the sleuths as they take the various twists and turns. Missteps are taken but Luis and Elia push their way through the questions to find why Elia’s friend Vicente was murdered.
Freelance writer Elia Christie has been riding with Sergeant Johnny Harden, violent crime investigator, to write an article on the division for Augusta Today. When a body is discovered at the Augusta National Open Golf Tournament.
Dr. Jorge Bilbao has been murdered, a note has been left at the scene, the master’s identification badge belongs to another man, Dr. Luis Achevarria. As the investigation continues Elia is sure that Luis is in danger and that the crime must have originated from his past in Peru.
Elia and Luis fly to Peru to start with his past …
This is a first novel for Ms. Mucha and shows promise. I was only able to give it 3 stars because for some reason (I’m not sure why) the writing felt stilted and at times disconnected. I have book 2 of this series saved on my kindle and I do plan to read, sometime in the future.… (mais)
