Stories included in this volume are those of the people who preserved their nationhood and maintained their unique culture with courage, strength and perseverance even during troubled times. Some songs and poems they loved to sing or recite are included with some folk tales which reflect their wit and humor. Readers will find great pleasure and gain insightful lessons through these stories which are touching legacies from Korea's past. -Amazon

The book does include quite a few korean phrases but writes them with english characters instead of in Hangul or both. Overall decent read for those wishing to learn about Korean culture and for those wanting to remember what they've forgotten.… (mais)
