This is a romantic comedy with a more-complicated-than usual background and setting. Grant is cast against type as a grungy malcontent, and while the whole thing takes awhile to get going, once the ladies arrive, it's a lot of fun.
Won Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. Bsed on a great novel, Flowers for Algernon.
