This topical study has good content and questions, excellent group response, practical application, DVD teaching (approx. 20 minutes) and leader's guide. Perry Noble is an excellent communicator with a lot of Biblical and practical approaches to anxiety. Highly recommended for seekers - mature believers. (2015-16 reviews, Tom Brennan)

This book to me was all over the place. It seemed to not really have a full purpose. Not what I have come to expect from Noble. It seemed he had a few good ideas throughout but they became muddled from all the side thoughts that had nothing to do with the theme of the book. I always try to find one takeaway from every book I read and this one was a quote he had on NFL draft and how teams are willing to pay a big price for a player they really want, but how much bigger of a price to be paid than giving up your life.

I give this book a 3.5. In it Perry shares the stories of Daniel, Joseph, and Job. All faced overwhelming circumstances. But All stayed focused on God. Perry points out how often time when we feel overwhelmed we are focused more on our problem and less on God. Through the book he gives great biblical references for when you are feeling overwhelmed.
