an ok book it was written over 40 years ago, tries to connect Evolution and Christianity, has some good info, but falls short in some areas.
905 The Wisdom of Evolution, by Raymond J. Nogar, O.P., Ph.D. (read 23 Jul 1967) This book is a sort of survey of evolution, its study and recognition. I was awed by all the things I do not and cannot know. The author concludes that biological evolution is solidly probable. But when he gets to cosmic evolution and to evolution from non-life to life, he is more wary. The footnotes to this book are full of citations to books I should read if I want to be really knowledgeable in the field. An excellent discussion.… (mais)
