Yeah, well: so much for yet another prophecy - and the insult of global warming to boot, leaving the claim of Mr. Noone that we'd be under 3 feet of ice by 2000, thanks to those pesky Freemasons keeping secrets again. He actually got on the Oprah show with this stupidity! Absolutely astonishing - and, like SO many other claims about the evil Freemasons, sheer contrived fantasy!

Survived another one!
The author seems to ignore the planetary lineup of 1982 & 82 (and since the outer planets move so slowly, ever 6 or 7 years since then.)
After this book came out we discovered how hot Venus was, and the idea of Global warming was invented, then supplanted the theory of Global Cooling since we are overdue to start sliding back into one.

Written in the 1980's, this book makes the dire prediction that the allignment of our solar system's planets, due on the 5th of May, 2000, will lead to massive geological upheavals including a sudden shift of the Earth's axis, leading to the destruction of much of human civilization. (Luckily, I survived - If there are any other survivors out there, please contact me)

Horribly failed, but interesting. Excellent illustrations and fun random bits of information.
