This story is told from two different narrators, Anna and Cass. Cass’ world has just fallen apart and she has taken a job at a rundown motel that has been turned into apartments. Anna’s husband has recently killed himself. She decides to move into the cheap apartment he kept as an art studio. This apartment is in this rundown hotel but she wants to understand why he kept this place.

There are quite a few characters in this tale. And I enjoyed every one. I loved the “trailer park” feel! The strangeness and the connections they have to each other is quite amusing. And the author uses each character to help uncover the truth about what is happening at this trailer park…uh..apartment complex!

This story weaves back and forth between Anna and Cass. They each have a different storyline which eventually comes together to catch a killer! Cass is my favorite…she is not really a good person but she just has a charisma you don’t want to miss!

Need a good thriller with unique characters…THIS IS IT! Grab your copy today!

I received this novel from the publisher for a honest review.

I liked this story. There were so many red herrings. Every time I thought I had it figured out, bam!, I was wrong again.

Looking forward to reading more of Seraphina Nova Glass's work.

Had to wait for this Edgar nominee to be available from the library and could see why. Very entertaining story of three women fighting to have relationships with some very different men. There is one pretty decent guy, one philandering liar and an actual killer and the things the women do are unbelievable ( for me , literally unbelievable…which lessened my enjoyment a bit) Still, a real page turner

The Vacancy In Room 10 by Seraphina Nova Glass is a thriller set around an apartment and a murder. The plot revolves between two characters, Cass and Anna. Their lives are totally different from each other but get entangled due to fate. Although it was dual POV which makes the plot a bit easy to understand but too many things are going on with the characters at the same time. There are drops of mystery to maintain readers interest after every few pages. But, the most abundant thing in the plot is what the character thinks inside its head. So, the story gets a little bit lengthy to finish. The book is worth a one time read if you like slow plot and average characters. The book keeps your mind invested to reach the climax. For me the book deserves 4 stars. Thanks to the author for providing me with an opportunity to read and review the book.… (mais)
