A Victorian Album por Graham Ovenden
This was really interesting, in that it presented an album JMC created for her sister. Things I don't get: why did they rearrange the images in it? And why didn't they proofread it? Or did the printers really screw up? Many of the images are obviously incorrectly identified (by obvious, I mean that old man in the image is not Mrs anybody), and I think that the image of JMC herself has been reversed. She has an obvious facial mole that is on the opposite side of her face in this book when compared to others I'm looking at. Wierd. Disappointing.… (mais)
Comprehensive and informative, but suffers from crude reproduction of illustrations and rather too many of Ovenden's own, rather shabby, overtly eroticised images.
