We're going to the farmers' market por Stefan Page
A picture book with bold colors about things purchased at the farmers' markets. I think the author intended a conventional rhyme scheme, but some were not true rhymes. It's not one I'd suggest for home use, but it might be a good one to pick up at the library to read to young children.
Young Reader Reaction: Both children enjoyed the colorful pictures and the cadence of the book when read aloud.
Adult Reader Reaction: It was a simple book and I appreciated the colorful bold illustrations. I was not surprised that my kids enjoyed We're Going to the Farmer's Market.
Pros: Gorgeous pictures patterns, perspective and colors come together to explain the process of buying food and bringing it to the table.
