First off, I have to thank St. Martin's Press for sending me this Advanced Reader's Copy!

This book is pretty fast-paced. Meghan is the daughter of Carl and Becky Gerard. Meghan has had unexplained illnesses for almost her entire life, without getting any diagnoses for these illnesses. Becky is a devoted mother and staunch advocate for Meghan. After one dramatic incident, doctors intervene (these are doctors that are not treating Meghan) and suspect Munchhausen syndrome by proxy, which Becky adamantly denies.

I did not see the ending coming with this book. It was a twist that I hadn't anticipated. Great book, even though there were a few typographical errors throughout the book.

This was an enjoyable audiobook that kept me guessing as to what really happened in Michael and Natalie's marriage, to the point where I wondered if Natalie's sleep deprivation was imagining the whole thing.
With the timeline, we slowly delve into the "before" with Natalie's POV which gives us a background as to why she took their children and is on the run from her husband. Every mother will understand her drive to protect her children, especially from their father, but the chapters from Michael's POV told us that there was more to the story than what showed on the surface.
It's a great story for thriller lovers. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me a copy.

My Wife is Missing by DJ Palmer is a thriller based on marital trust and distrust. Everyone has secrets – the wife, the husband, the investigator, the victim, the friend, everyone except maybe the children! Some secrets are recent, and some travel back into the past. The secrets from the past and the present all collide together in a dramatic conclusion. Getting there is, at times unbelievable, but nevertheless an entertaining read.
