I loved the mixing of sci-fi and fantasy in this, it’s the perfect balance, with a good storyline that keeps you turning pages. Eledon sounds like an amazing job, and Parker did a great job of bringing it to life. It’s so different from Earth, but I’d love to visit it! Alex is a great character, with a lot of depth, and I love that she’s the first elfin woman to hold her position. She’s smart, strong, and determined, and even when the odds seem stacked against her, she doesn’t back down or give up. Overall, a fun read for sci-fi and fantasy lovers, and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the series has in store.… (mais)

This final book in this trilogy did end on a high note. I have loved seeing Alex grow. Yet at the same time, the way Alex reacted of still learning about the new world had me laughing several times through out the book. It was even more fun with Lord Odin joining in. That "elf" had a fashion style all his own...kilt, track suit, and a man bun.

This is the first time that I think I have come across where current events played into these books. What I am speaking of is...human trafficking. Sadly, it is real. It is happening all over the world. Luckily for the elves in this book they did get a happy ending. However, so many in the present world don't. If you are into fantasy I suggest checking out this trilogy. Just make sure to read these books in chronological order to fully appreciate them. I hope to see Alex again in a future book.… (mais)

This is the second book in this series. You really should read book one as these books are meant to be read in chronological order. Unlike the first book, this one is where the action is at. Within the first several chapters, Alex and The Colonel are getting shot at by some assassins. Yet, they are not the only ones that Alex has to deal with. There is the matter of Hades. Yes, that man aka God. Alex is the great-granddaughter of Hyperion, the missing Titan from the War of the Titans. Hades has learned this history lesson and is now after Alex. Alex will have to use her powers if she wants to live.

Readers will enjoy this next installment in the Admiralty Archives series. It will take readers on an grand adventure filled with excitement, action, engaging characters, and a good storyline. Ms. Parker is here to stay as a fantasy writer. I know that I have enjoyed reading every book thus far and that is about five to six books.

I have gotten to know Alexin aka Alex from The Chronicles of Eledon series. It was from that series that I became a fan of this author. Ms. Parker has made me really enjoy reading about elves and fantasy again.

In this new series, Alex is main lead again. Because I am familiar with Alex and what she is capable of; I was a bit let down with this book. It did not show as strongly as I know that Ms. Parker and Alex are capable of. Not a lot was shown about the world of Eledon or ground new readers to this book. However, because I am a fan I do plan to read the next book in this series as I need to know what happens to Alex after the betrayal she was dealt.… (mais)
